|Entry Requirements||There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, however TrainSmart Australia will assess a students’ ‘Academic Suitability’ to ensure the student has the best chance of success. Academic suitability is determined by either; the student providing TrainSmart Australia with a copy of an Australian year 12 Certificate; or, the student completing the Core Skills Profile for Adults (CSPA) online assessment passing at or above Exit Level 3 in the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) in both reading and numeracy.|
This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for you to create your own software that customers can enjoy. You will be able to develop software for use in business to creating mobile based applications designed for smart phones. The course content includes creating software to meet a clients’ requirements and to initiate cloud computing services. You will further develop your skills for managing projects and know how to prevent viruses and debug applications.
A career in software development is well paid and there are plenty of jobs available. The IT industry is ever changing and evolving which makes this role exciting and demanding. From developing applications that allow people to do specific tasks on a computer to being in charge of systems that control networks – your career will be anything but dull.
